All about our car cleaning clay
Caution: Always test the surface for compatibility on an inconspicuous area before use. Our cleaning clay/paint clay removes contaminants such as rust particles, tree resin residue, tar splashes, and virtually all other stubborn surface dirt.
It's designed to remove even the most stubborn dirt from your vehicle without damaging the surface. Using a suitable lubricant, the clay can be easily moved across the paint surface, effectively pulling dirt particles out of the paint's pores and ensuring deep cleaning.
Procedure with the cleaning clay
- Preparation: Make sure your vehicle is thoroughly washed to remove any coarse dirt.
Division: Take a piece of the clay and shape it into a flat disc that fits comfortably in your hand.
-
Apply lubricant: Spray the lubricant generously onto the area you want to clean. We recommend using a pH-neutral shampoo, such as our "Wash & Foam," diluted with water.
- Application: Move the clay over the surface with light pressure.
- Post-processing: Rinse the area with clean water or wipe with a clean microfiber cloth.
- Care of the clay: If the clay is visibly dirty, knead it thoroughly. Dispose of it if it becomes heavily soiled or if it has been dropped.
- Clay care: If the clay becomes visibly dirty during use, knead it thoroughly to obtain a clean surface. If the clay becomes too dirty or falls off, it should be discarded and replaced with a new piece for safety reasons.
Storage:
Store the cleaning clay in its original packaging or an airtight container to protect it from contamination and extend its lifespan.
